"Work Sucks!"
This
oft-repeated phrase is both the premise and the challenge
of Why Work Isn’t Working Anymore, a unique gloves-off observation
on and critique of the American workplace – that place where
the number of employees who profess to be “reasonably satisfied”
with their work has fallen 13% in the last five years and
now numbers fewer than half.

want to be,’ but what we really mean is ‘growing up to have
what you want to have.’ Having, not being, is the American
