Jim
Karger lives with his wife and eight dogs in San Miguel
de Allende, Mexico where he serves as President of
Amigos de Animales (Friends of Animals) – an organization
dedicated to reducing the number of homeless animals
in Mexico and that funds the spay and neuter of more
than 1,000 animals a year and provides educational
services to schools in the humane treatment of animals.
Jim’s wife, Kelly, is the Treasurer of Amigos de Animales,
and is the founder and President of S.A.M.M. (Save
a Mexican Mutt), dedicated to the rescue and adoption
of homeless dogs from the streets of Mexico.
